Lucky Number 7

5 6 1 3 4

I've been back at school for over a month now since coming back from winter break, and I already miss it. I took this photoshoot right before I left and right after I found this lucky number 7 sweater in my mom's closet (it's mine now). This has got to be my favorite sweater now, though, and it totally reminds me of home. The funny thing is, number 7 really is my lucky number, so the fact that I dug it out of my mom's sweaters and really feel connected to it is so funny! Every time I peep it in my closet. I just think of being back at home with my family with the freedom to dress for warmer weather -- Boston definitely does not give you warm weather on a usual basis. This lucky number 7 sweater is probably my favorite thing in my outfit right now.

Do you have a lucky number or something in your closet that reminds you of home?

I'm baaaaaaack. Like, hopefully really back. The problem was that my camera charger is gone. I think forever. And, sure, I could just wander over to the battery store and buy a new one, but that takes effort, and that sounds gross. So, for a quick fix, I am currently using my old Kodak camera until I can muster up the energy to go buy a new battery. So, until then, enjoy these kind of grainy but still super cute outfit photos. Yep, that's about right.

Okay, now I'm going to get real with you guys for a second. My hair is pink. Like, pink, pink. And I love it. What do you all think? The purple was okay, but I really, really love this pink. Expect it for a while, because I'm not letting it go anywhere.

I really missed posting here, and one of my resolutions in 2015 is to start posting more regularly, so I'm going to do just that. I'm going to start with Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Tuesdays being "Try This Tuesday" and Thursdays being an outfit from my own mind. I'm super excited to start this blog back up. Let me know what you think about my hair in the comments!

Happy Closet Remix Challenge day 8!

So it looks like I won't have my computer for the next week or two, so please excuse any late posts / poorly editted ones. I'm doing what I can with what I have. I will be posting, though, so I hope you enjoy it! I can guarantee this will probably be my last #CRC post for this challenge... it was fun while I did it!

Happy Closet Remix Challenge day 7!

Okay, listen, I kind of cheated on today's challenge outfit. It's 20 degrees here and I have absolutely nothing that is equipped for those kinds of temperatures! So, naturally, I raided my mom's closet. Good thing she had this baby. Warm, functional, stylish... it's the whole package. Thanks mom! Also, don't tell the closet remix challenge police. I promise I won't do it ever again for the rest of the 30 days.

On the other hand, you know how it was 60 degrees yesterday? Yeah, well, it snowed today. Isn't nature awesome? Just as you're about to enjoy the warm weather, snow just dumps on your head. Cool. Awesome. Thanks Mother Nature. I'm running out of snow clothes, though, do you mind warming it up? Much appreciated xo

Apple picking is my favorite part of the entire year, mostly because it means that autumn is right around the corner. This year promised nothing less, what with cool air and lots of apples to be picked, I could feel the fall in the air, and, oh, how excited I got! Now I have four bags of apples and two gallons of apple cider to remind me of the yearly trip. They should probably last me about, uh, two weeks. Have I mentioned I love apples?

While we were upstate I also got the opportunity to see my sister graduate for intermediate honors, meaning she's been spending a heck of a lot of time in class. I both envy he work ethic and wonder how she still has time to have fun in college, yet I know she can still balance it. A post of photos I took in Charlottesville will be up soon. Prepare to feel the magic of the coming season!
